14k White Gold And 14K Gold Custom Two-tone Diamond Halo Engagement Ring
Item #102901 $5,072 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
The clients provided the center diamond for this piece, and they wanted our help designing the perfect setting for it. After learning as much as we could about their style and feature preferences, we created a CAD model of the piece that we shared with them online. They requested some small modifications, and then came in to view a wax model just to be sure before giving final approval to move into production. Design Your Own Engagement Ring
Center Diamond and Halo
The central diamond in this piece is 2.46 carats and pear shaped. It’s held in place by three platinum prongs, and a halo of split prong set diamonds follows its contours exactly. This was a stone that the clients already had, and so we built the design around it and set it for them. It has a dazzling fire, which is only accentuated by the extra light reflected up onto it from the halo, and the elegant pear shape makes for a truly stunning center. Halo Engagement Rings
Rose Gold Basket and Diamond Accents
The main setting and band of this ring are platinum, but the basket below the center diamond is made of 18k rose gold, which adds some surprise contrast to the piece, as it’s only visible from the sides. The looping design of the basket is accented with round bright cut set diamonds lined with milgrain, bringing some vintage flair to the ring and helping to give it a nice, finished feel.
Split prong set diamond accents also continue down the shank shoulders to the three-quarter point on the band, and these tie in nicely with the stones in the halo to help unite the two sections of the ring. Our initial model had the diamonds stopping at the mid-point, but the client requested that we extend them a little farther to keep the look uniform even if the ring rotated a little while she was wearing it.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
