Diamond Solitaire
A one carat round brilliant cut diamond takes center stage in this ring, and it’s displayed beautifully in a double prong platinum setting that elevates it above the elegant band below. The size of the double prongs helps to highlight the elegant shape and brilliant sparkle of the diamond they hold, and it brings a touch of classical flair to the ring as well. Hand Engraving and Custom Filigree
Both the top and fronts of this ring are covered nearly all the way around by a wheat pattern of custom hand engraving. This is a detail that our expert artisans complete as the final step in the production process, and because it’s done by hand, it can be customized to a great degree to incorporate a pattern or symbol with special meaning for you.
The hand engraving is framed by delicate milgrain beading, and this combination adds significantly to the vintage feel of the ring. As a finishing touch, a beautiful custom filigree fills the space below the center diamond on both ring fronts. It’s made from 18k yellow gold, which adds a lovely two-tone element to the design and helps the intricate detail really stand out without being overpowering.

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
