Description
A dazzling cushion cut, half carat diamond is the centerpiece of this ring, and it’s displayed beautifully in a four prong setting. Its sparkling white contrasts nicely with the yellow gold of the setting and shank, and the setting also includes some specific modifications to help it really stand out.

Diamonds are a popular choice for engagement rings, and for good reason. They make a dramatic statement with their brilliant sparkle, and they also represent love, devotion, and unparalleled beauty. Diamond Engagement Rings
Accent Stones
A modified halo of yellow sapphires encircles the center diamond. These stones are split prong set, and their yellow color causes them to blend almost completely with the yellow gold of the band. The way they sparkle and the type of setting used help them create a lovely yet subtle floral effect around the center setting when viewed from the top.
Rounding out the design are rows of split prong set diamonds running down each shoulder of the shank. These add just enough additional sparkle to the ring, and the type of setting used helps give the piece a nice classical feel.
Setting and Gemstone Options
Adjusting the types of settings and gemstones used in this ring can really turn it into a completely different piece. So if you like the basic structure of this design but want to add your own personal touch to it, our experts are here to help.
For instance, you could switch to a channel setting for the accent stones and a bezel setting for the diamond solitaire to generate a sleek, modern look. Or you could replace the yellow sapphires with a different type of stone that holds special meaning for you.

Discuss the stones, metal, proportions, setting and finish with a designer, online or in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms. You can bring reference photographs or your own stone for us to assess.
Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
