He had clear ideas about the type of ring he wanted for his fiancee-to-be, and we worked closely with him throughout the process, both in person and online, to ensure every detail was perfect.
Center Setting
The centerpiece of this ring is a 2.02 carat radiant cut diamond with stunning fire, and it’s held in a double prong platinum setting that positions it lengthwise across the band. The client was initially interested in at least an I color diamond, but we were able to find this J color that was internally flawless. He came in to view both options in person, and at that point, he decided to go with this extremely rare and dazzlingly beautiful stone. One of a Kind Engagement Rings
Diamond Halos and Accents
Surrounding the center diamond are two halos of split prong set diamonds, with the outer set slightly lower than the inner. These follow the contours of the center diamond generally, but their corners are softly rounded to give the piece a nice, finished feel. The client was originally interested in a single halo design, but after seeing the CAD models of this and viewing some additional inspiration pieces, he decided to go with two instead. Halo Engagement Rings
The shank shoulders are lined with split prong set diamond accents down to the mid-point on the band. These are arranged in two rows, and they cover the top surface of the slightly domed band. This creates a gorgeous and glamorous presentation when the ring is viewed straight on from the top down, and it also helps tie the two sections of the ring together.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
