14k White Gold Custom Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #103150 $4,632 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Center Setting
The centerpiece of this ring is a 2.61 carat round brilliant cut diamond. It’s cradled in four platinum prongs that rise up smoothly from an elegant criss-cross on both ring fronts. The diamond sits at the high end of the normal range on terms of height off the finger, and this positioning was chosen to allow a straight wedding band to sit flush against it later on at the client’s request.
Diamond Accents
Nine small round diamonds are channel set down each of the shank shoulders, running from the side of the main diamond down to just past the mid-point on the band. These echo the shape of the center, creating a link between the top and bottom portions of the ring. They also add some glamorous sparkle of their own, and their shape and setting type bring a contemporary flair to the design. One of a Kind Engagement Rings
Custom Wedding Sets
Whether you’re purchasing both rings in your wedding set at the same time or not, it’s a good idea to think about the type of wedding ring you’d like as you go about creating your engagement ring. For instance, if you want a straight band to be able to sit flush against the engagement ring, as this client did, the engagement ring must be designed to accommodate this. Matching Wedding Sets
Contoured bands are another option, of course, as are ring guards or jackets that wrap around both sides of the engagement ring. We can make any of these in a variety of styles and with any combination of features you’d like. Our team with help you work through the many possibilities, and we’ll adjust our models as much as necessary until you’re completely satisfied we’ve captured your vision.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
