After clarifying a few details concerning the kind of band and type of center stone he wanted, our experts put together a highly-detailed model in CAD. He also came in to view a wax model of the ring to ensure every detail was perfect before giving his final approval to move things into production.
Center Diamond and Halo
At the top of this ring, a 0.90 carat emerald cut diamond is prong set in 14k rose gold. The rounded ends of the prongs curl up over the cropped corners of the stone, adding a lovely contrast in terms of color as well as shape. The diamond is oriented to sit lengthwise across the band, and this helps to highlight its elegant shape while also adding some classical flair to the design. Diamond Engagement Rings
Surrounding the center diamond is a halo of bright cut set diamonds lined with milgrain beading. The halo follows the general contours of the center stone, but with slightly curved sides and softly rounded corners that are more in line with a cushion shape than the emerald cut of the larger diamond.
