Center Emerald
The only gemstone in this ring is an emerald cut emerald with a nearly square shape and a dazzling green color. It’s framed beautifully in a half bezel setting made from 18k rose gold, and the contrast between the warm tones of the metal and the beautiful sparkle of the emerald enhances the beauty of both.
This design can be adapted to accommodate many different sizes of center stones, and we can also adjust it if you’d like to use a different cut. Round, oval, and marquise shapes are all options, whether you decide to go with an emerald or a different type of gemstone for your centerpiece, and you can also switch to a full bezel setting depending on the look you prefer. Metal and Finish Options
The entire band, as well as the sides of the main setting, feature a sandblasted finish that creates a grainy matte surface. This helps highlight the glow of the rose gold, and it gives the ring a touch of contemporary flair. Unique Engagement Rings Seattle
There are other options, however, both for the type of metal used and the finish. For instance, you might decide you like the look of brushed yellow gold more than the combination in this piece, or you may want to go with a high polish finish on the rose gold to take things in a more classical direction.

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
