Three-stone Setting
At the top of this ring sits a 0.70 carat princess cut diamond, which is held in place by four rose gold prongs. A princess cut blue sapphire is also prong set on each side of the diamond, and these complete the three-stone setting. The client liked the three-stone look from the beginning, and she knew she wanted blue side stones as well.
Sapphires and diamonds are both frequently used in engagement rings for several reasons. Diamond Accents and Organic Filigree
The shoulders of this ring are composed of an intricate rose gold filigree in the shape of vines and leaves, which helps to give this design its delicate organic overtones. This is continued on the fronts of the ring as well, with swirling scroll shapes filling the spaces beneath the stones in the main setting. Matching Wedding Sets
A single round diamond is bezel set on each shank shoulder, wrapped in a curve of the vine filigree. These add just the right amount of sparkle to the band to tie in with the main setting while still not overpowering the detailed metalwork. The organic filigree in this piece also served as the inspiration for the hand-engraved pattern seen on the matching wedding band, and this shared feature helps to unite the set.

Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
