This elegant engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond in a wrapped shank, with diamond and hand-made filigree accents. It was created for a client from Auburn, WA, who worked with our design team extensively, both in person in our Bellevue, WA showroom and online to make sure every detail came out just right.

Center Diamond
The stone at the center of this ring is a round brilliant cut diamond that’s tension set in a modified bezel setting created by the two wrapped ends of the shank. It’s an elegant design that gives the piece a bit of contemporary flair, and that’s only reinforced by the lovely shine of the 18k white gold that makes up the rest of the band. Diamond Selection
The client was originally going to use a diamond he already had for this ring, but in the end, he decided to go with one we sourced for him. Custom Filigree and Accent Diamonds
Beautiful hand-made filigree with a leaf and vine motif fills the space below the center setting on both fronts of the ring, which tapers as it extends out towards the shoulders of the shank. There is also a small round diamond bezel set in each of the ring fronts right below the main stone, and this adds a bit of sparkle to the piece just when you least expect it. Design and estimate

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.
Lifetime warranty and care
- Lifetime warrantyYour custom piece is covered against manufacturing defects.
- Inspection every six monthsOur jewelers inspect your piece and provide ongoing care for the custom jewelry we make for you.
- Complimentary cleaningVisit us every six months for a complimentary cleaning.
Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
