Center Setting
The centerpiece of this design is a 0.75 carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s displayed beautifully in a four prong setting made from 18k white gold. The prongs taper and curl up over the girdle of the diamond, and their top surface is divided in half by a groove, which gives them a claw-like appearance while also referencing the division on the band below.
On the sides of the setting, a gallery rail runs between the prongs, providing added structural stability to the design along with a balanced feel. This rail is lined with small round bright cut set diamond accents as well, and these continue up along the lower portion of the prongs. Larger diamond accents run down the shank shoulders in two rows, and these are all split prong set as well. They begin right at the edge of the center setting, and they continue down to the mid-point on each side.
