Center Setting and Halo

In the center of this ring, a two carat round brilliant cut diamond is held in a four prong setting made of 18k white gold. This gorgeous stone sits up slightly above a squared halo of round bright cut set accent diamonds, the surface of which angles down slightly towards the band. The sides of the halo are lined with bright cut set diamonds as well, and all of these diamonds are framed by rows of delicate milgrain beading. Diamond Engagement Rings

Accent Diamonds and Custom Hand Engraving

Just outside of the halo, a round brilliant cut diamond sits in a squared, tapered platform on each shank shoulder. While these are significantly smaller than the center stone, they echo its shape and framing nicely, facilitating a transition to the narrower shank below. They are lined with milgrain beading as well, and below the platform, there are five split prong set accent diamonds running down the side of the shank. Hand Engraving

The fronts of the ring, as well as the top surface below the point where the accent diamonds stop, are all covered with a scroll-style pattern of custom hand engraving that helps solidify the vintage style of the piece. The engraved sections are framed by milgrain beading a well, and this helps to tie the diverse areas of the ring together, while also giving the ring a satisfying, finished look. Only a small space at the very bottom of the band is left entirely blank, and this allows for seamless resizing of the ring in the future.

Customize

Use this design as a starting point for a custom piece.

Discuss the stones, metal, proportions, setting and finish with a designer, online or in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms. You can bring reference photographs or your own stone for us to assess.

  1. Design and estimate

The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.

  2. 3D design review

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.

  3. Physical model

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.

  4. Approval and production

The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.

Diamond and gemstone selection
We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
Final inspection
Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.
