14k White Gold Halo Diamond Engagement Ring

Center Setting and Halo
The centerpiece of this ring is a one carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s cradled in a four prong setting made from 18k white gold. A bit below the level of the main diamond, a halo of shared prong set diamonds surrounds the center, and its slightly squared shape helps to highlight the perfectly round curvature of the main stone. The clustered look of the diamonds in the halo also gives the center setting a floral appearance, as well as a dazzling sparkle, with a minimal amount of metal visible around the stones. The halo design is a classic and popular choice, although there are quite a few different ways of executing it. The size of the diamonds used can greatly impact the halo’s appearance, as can the setting style and the halo’s overall shape. Another benefit of this feature is that the smaller stones in the halo wind up reflecting additional light back up onto the center, which can help increase the latter’s brilliance significantly. Diamond and Milgrain Accents
The band on this ring features a soft knife edge and a minimal taper. It’s smooth and polished on top, and this look allows the center setting to clearly dominate the top-down view. There are some bright cut set diamond accents on the ring fronts, however, adding a surprise sparkle and classical flair to the design.
Directly below the center on both ring fronts, a bezel set diamond is ringed by milgrain beading, and this setting is seemingly suspended between curves of metal that each extend out from the inner surface of the band on either side. These curves are what hold the bright cut set diamond accents, and they’re lined with milgrain beading as well for a satisfying, finished feel.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
