Diamond Solitaire
The only gemstone in this ring is a one-carat round brilliant cut diamond. It’s cradled in a four-prong rose gold setting that sits directly on top of the braided band. The prongs follow the contours of the stone generally on their way up to the top, and they’re joined slightly below the diamond’s girdle by a gallery rail that adds visual balance and structural stability to the piece. Band Design
The band of this ring is straight and maintains the same basic width all the way around. Just below the mid-point on each side, a braided pattern begins to emerge, and this continues all the way up to the top where it meets the bottom of the center setting. Customization Options
If you’re interested in customizing this ring, you could begin by changing the shape or size of the center stone. After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
