14k Yellow Gold And 14K Gold Custom Two-tone Pink Sapphire And Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #102827 $4,287 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
He had found a ring on our site that he liked the overall design of, and he requested a few modifications to make it the perfect fit for his fiancee-to-be. After incorporating his ideas, we shared some highly-detailed CAD models of the piece we proposed to make, and he quickly approved them to move into production.
Center Sapphire
The centerpiece of this ring is a 1.93 carat cushion cut pink sapphire with stunning fire, and it is cradled perfectly in a four prong setting made of 18k white gold. Although diamonds are the most popular and traditional choice for the main stone in an engagement ring, sapphires have a long history in this role as well. The lovely pink color of this stone introduces romantic overtones and brings lovely contrast to the design. Sapphire Engagement Rings
Rose Gold Filigree and Diamond Accents
The split shank in this ring creates an opening on the shank shoulders that we filled with an organic-themed custom filigree. This was made with 18k rose gold to bring a two-tone look to the piece, and it introduces some organic floral themes as well.
The leaves and vines that make up the filigree curl around to integrate some bezel set round diamonds, which add sparkle while also integrating traditional diamonds into the engagement ring design. There is a tiny rose gold heart tucked on each of the ring fronts below the main setting, and three diamonds sit above each of these in white gold settings shaped to resemble a crown.
Custom Hand Engraving
As a finishing touch, the fronts of the ring are covered with a lovely hand engraved pattern that uses twisting vines to tie in with the organic themes introduced in the filigree. At the client’s request, we also worked in some maple leaf shapes, and at the engraver’s suggestion, the client decided to leave the top of the band free of engraving for a clean, classy look. Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
