On this visit, he found a design to customize, and so we communicated with him online to finalize the details of the piece. He also came back into the showroom to inspect and approve the center diamond before it was set, and he was very happy with the way the finished piece turned out.
Center Setting and Halo
The large oval diamond in the center of this ring is 1.05 carats, and it sits in a four prong setting made of 18k white gold. The prongs originate directly below the center setting, and there is a small diamond bezel set in white gold on each ring front here as well. These are the only white gold parts of the ring, and the client asked to make the switch to help the prongs blend in with the center stone, further emphasizing its beautiful sparkle. Halo Engagement Rings
Small round diamonds are bright cut set in 18k yellow gold and lined with milgrain in the contoured halo that surrounds the larger oval stone. These bring their own sparkle to the piece, and they reflect additional light up onto the center, helping to increase its brilliance. One of a Kind Engagement Rings
Band Design and Diamond Accents
The shank shoulders of this ring are made up of delicate filigree lined with milgrain, and bright cut and bezel set diamonds are integrated into this ornate design. This contributes significantly to the vintage look of the piece, and the milgrain works to unite the two sections of the ring. The fronts of the ring also hold lines of bright cut set diamond accents, and all of the diamonds on the top and fronts stop at the mid-point on each side of the band.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
