Bezel Set Diamond
The centerpiece of this ring is a one carat round brilliant cut diamond. It’s bezel set in 18k white gold, which both accentuates its perfectly round shape and enhances its brilliant sparkle. The bezel setting slopes away from the crown of the diamond with a bit of a rounded edge, maintaining the same curve that the stone has as it angles down toward the band. Design Your Own Engagement Ring
This gentle curve stops as the side of the setting meets the edge of the band, and that limit is maintained all the way around the diamond even though the band only intersects it in two spots. This creates a band around the middle of the diamond from the side view, with lots of open space below the stone on the ring fronts so as to permit plenty of light to reach it.
Band Design and Customization Options
The band is flat, polished and relatively wide. Its contemporary overtones are reflected in the fact that no additional metalwork adorns it, and its minimalist styling keeps the focus solidly on the gorgeous diamond above. The ring is a solitaire, and so no accent gemstones are included either, making for an elegant, sleek presentation. Diamond Engagement Rings
Even if you’d like to keep this contemporary style intact, there are still some ways you can customize the design to make it more your own. For instance, you could experiment with sandblasted or brushed finishes, and you could even introduce a subtle contrast by using one type of finish on the center setting and another on the band. Using a different type of metal or colored gemstone is worth considering as well, and our experts will use CAD models and renderings to help you visualize all of these options before you make your final decision.

Customize
Use this design as a starting point for a custom piece.
Discuss the stones, metal, proportions, setting and finish with a designer, online or in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms. You can bring reference photographs or your own stone for us to assess.
Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.
3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
