14k Yellow Gold Custom Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #100782 $4,033 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
We worked with her primarily online to develop the design of this piece. After viewing our first round of CAD images, our client asked for some revisions, and we continued this process until we had everything just the way she wanted it.
Center Setting
The center setting of this ring is made up of two round diamonds, one slightly larger than the other, laid out to line up vertically on the finger. They are both prong set in platinum, and strands of the split shank curve and twist to wrap around both of them.
The two diamonds used in this piece were family stones our client provided. She had initially wanted the larger diamond to be a princess cut, but once she received the larger family stone, she decided to incorporate that into the ring even though it was round like the smaller diamond. Instead, she asked that we alter the setting a bit for the larger diamond to make it appear more square, and we were able to achieve just the look she was after. Diamond Engagement Rings
Accent Diamonds and Shank Design
On one side, the shank splits just above the half-way point, and the diverging ends work their way up and around the smaller stone in the main setting. The outermost strand then curls down again, making an S shape as it wraps around the larger diamond as well. The second strand inserts directly between the two diamonds before curving around the larger stone in the opposite direction.
Bright cut set diamonds line both of these interwoven strands, with the accents starting at the split for the middle piece and at the top of the curve for the outer one. This works well with the overall asymmetry of the design to provide a satisfying balance to the ring. The accent diamonds are also lined with milgrain for a bit of classical flair in an otherwise contemporary design. Design Your Own Engagement Ring

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
