It was created for a client from Woodlands, TX, who shared his vision with our team in person in our Bellevue, WA showroom. Three-stone Setting
The main stone in this ring is a 1.28 carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s flanked on either side by pear shaped diamonds that nestle right up against its sides. These are set slightly lower than the larger stone, and they’re oriented with their pointed end away from it so as to ease the transition to the narrower band. Three Stone Engagement Rings
Accent Diamonds
Round bright cut set diamonds run down the fronts of the shank shoulders to the mid-way point on the band on both sides, adding a bit of surprise sparkle to the ring, and also helping to create a more classical feel. These types of accent diamonds are often placed on the top of the band rather than the fronts, and this design choice really gives the piece a more unique look. Diamond Engagement Rings
Custom Filigree
The space beneath the center setting is filled with a beautiful, looping filigree. It splits off the main band to curl down just as the remainder of the shank curls up to form the prongs holding the side pear diamonds, giving a nice symmetry to the design as well.
This beautiful filigree detail can be customized to a great degree to include shapes and symbols with personal significance to you. We can also add custom hand engraving to a piece like this to take it in a more classical direction. Design Your Own Engagement Ring

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
