As the design progressed, we communicated with him online, over the phone, and in person in our Bellevue, WA showroom to finalize the details of the piece. He wanted every element to be just right, and we made sure that the final piece we produced for him perfectly matched his vision in every way.
Center Setting
The center stone in this ring is a 0.70 carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s displayed beautifully in a four prong setting made of 18k yellow gold. Diamond Engagement Rings
Diamond Accents
Four round bright cut set diamonds run down the shank shoulder on each side of the main stone, and these add sparkle while also helping to push the piece in a more vintage direction. Additional diamond accents are set on the fronts of the ring just below the center diamond, and these include three bright cut set stones in leaf shapes and one bezel set and slightly larger diamond just below them.
Hand Engraving and Milgrain
All of the diamond accents are lined with milgrain beading, and this continues around the entire circumference of the ring on each edge. The remainder of the band is hand engraved with a lovely, swirling wheat pattern that our client particularly liked.
These types of details are what really make the ring stand out, and we’re fortunate to have an exceptionally skilled team of jewelers who can execute this kind of metalwork to perfection. Custom engraving in particular is carried out as the last step in the production process, and because it’s all done by hand, it can be adjusted to include almost any type of pattern or design you’d like to see. Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
