Center Diamond and Halo

The one carat round brilliant cut diamond that sits at the top of this ring has a dazzling fire that’s only intensified by the halo of split prong set diamonds surrounding it. This halo is slightly squared, with its soft corners helping to add some art deco flair to the piece. It also creates the sense that the center diamond is even larger, and it eases the transition to the narrow, straight band below. Halo Engagement Rings

Diamond Accents

Split prong set diamond accents also run down the shank to the three-quarter point, tying in nicely with the diamonds in the halo and giving the piece a satisfying sense of continuity. The use of the split prong setting allows the diamonds to span the entire band, and this helps to keep it thin while maximizing the amount of sparkle the diamonds provide.

Customization Options

If you like the overall outline of this design but want to find a way to put your personal mark on it, we can help. There are quite a few ways to go about customizing a piece like this, including experimenting with different metal types and setting styles.

For instance, if you wanted to take the piece in a more vintage direction, you might consider using rose gold instead of platinum. The warmer tones of this alternative metal would add contrast as well as some lovely vintage overtones, and you could even take this a bit farther by switching to bright cut settings for the accent diamonds. Customize

Use this design as a starting point for a custom piece.

Discuss the stones, metal, proportions, setting and finish with a designer, online or in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms. You can bring reference photographs or your own stone for us to assess.

  1. Design and estimate

The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.

  2. 3D design review

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.

  3. Physical model

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.

  4. Approval and production

The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
