Center Stone
One of the things that makes this ring so beautifully eye-catching is the brilliant oval cut diamond in the center. An oval cut can make a stone seem larger than it would if cut into a different shape, and this cut also makes the wearer’s finger appear longer, which enhances the overall elegance the ring imparts. The oval diamond in this ring can be cut narrower or wider to match your preferences and specifications, and our designers will be happy to work with you to find the cut that creates the overall look you’re going for. Surrounding the center diamond in this ring is a halo of split prong set diamonds, which compliment the larger stone nicely and also serve to offset it from the rest of the piece. Baguette Accents
Running down the center of the ring’s shank on each side are two tapered baguette diamonds. These provide an exquisite counterbalance to the oval at the center, as well as adding a subtle art-deco flair to the ring. They are trimmed with milgrain and flanked by pave set bright cut diamonds to round out the piece.
Platinum Shank
The polished finish on the ring’s platinum shank completes the elegant look, and the strength of the platinum ensures the security of the many stones it holds. 3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
