Description

This exquisite engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond surrounded by a diamond halo, all set in 14k white gold. It was created as a custom piece for a client from Seattle, WA, who shared some pictures of her inspiration rings with us so that we could see the type of look she was going for. She coordinated with our design team online, in person, and over the phone to tweak the ring until it was just right, and she was completely satisfied with the result.

Diamond Center

This ring centers around a 1.20 carat round brilliant cut diamond, displayed beautifully in a four prong setting, and surrounded by a halo of split prong set diamonds. Both the round brilliant center diamond and the halo setting are popular choices for engagement rings. Diamond Engagement Rings

In addition to adding its own sparkle to the ring, the halo here works to increase the beauty of the center stone by reflecting additional light up onto it. This helps the center diamond to shine even more brightly, creating a truly eye-catching piece.

Accent Stones

The diamonds in the halo aren't the only accent stones in this ring, however. There are also split prong set diamonds running down the shoulders of the cathedral shank to the half-way point of the band, making for quite a glamorous look.

And tucked below the center setting, there are additional smaller diamonds set in the metal arms that frame the main stone and continuing up to form the prongs that hold it.

Customize

Use this design as a starting point for a custom piece.

Discuss the stones, metal, proportions, setting and finish with a designer, online or in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms. You can bring reference photographs or your own stone for us to assess.

  1. Design and estimate

The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.

  2. 3D design review

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.

  3. Physical model

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.

  4. Approval and production

The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
