This lovely engagement ring features custom hand-engraved initials in the center, with diamond accents on the tapered shank. It was created for a couple from Bradenton, FL as part of a custom wedding set that also included men’s ring #102816 after they contacted us online to begin the custom design process.

Although they couldn’t visit us personally in our Bellevue, WA showroom, we posted models of the pieces we proposed to make for them online so they could provide feedback. After a few adjustments, they gave their approval to move both rings into production, and they were very happy with the way the finished pieces came out.
Engraved Initials
The main feature of this ring is the custom engraved monogram that fits comfortably into the flat circle of 14k white gold at the top of the band. Both the circle and the engraved design are mirrored on the companion men’s band, as is the brushed finish on top of the circle where the monogram sits.
There are many ways custom hand engraving can add personal significance to your piece, including through the use of special initials or symbols. Our expert artisans add this type of feature by hand, and that allows us to customize it to a very high degree while also offering the exquisite level of detail seen here. Diamond Accents
There is a single round diamond prong set on each of the shank shoulders, and these are contained within a heart shape that forms out of the ends of the band just before it meets the center circle. The diamonds add just a bit of sparkle to the ring, and they serve as a link to the traditional style of engagement ring within this very unique piece.
The hearts share their contours with those carved into the sides of the men’s band that completes this set, adding yet another connection between the two pieces. The fact that the clients commissioned these rings at the same time allowed us to design them with this special combination of shared features, although we can always make a new custom ring to match an existing piece as well.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
