Item #101998 $4,586 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Even though they live far away to visit our Bellevue, WA showroom personally, we produced a piece they were completely satisfied with thanks to our online system and the state-of-the-art imaging tools we have for creating high quality 3D images of our custom designs.
Center Setting
The diamond at the center of this ring is a 1.20 carat marquise cut stone held in a six prong setting. The flat, elongated cut of the diamond makes it appear even bigger, and this type of shape has become popular due to the way it makes your finger appear longer when worn. Diamond Engagement Rings
Surrounding the center stone is a halo of bright cut set diamonds that add their own sparkle, and they also enhance the brilliance of the main diamond. Halos have long been used in rings and other types of fashion jewelry, but they are especially popular in engagement rings.
Diamond Accents
On a platform on either side of the center setting sit two bright cut set diamonds lined in milgrain. There is also a band of diamonds running down each shank shoulder, and these match up perfectly with the diamonds on the wedding band we made to go along with this piece. The milgrain detailing really helps to bring out the sparkle of the accent stones, and it also gives the set a nice vintage flair.
Filigree and Metalwork
The basket that makes up the center setting features a lovely scroll filigree, which ties in nicely with the engraving on the fronts of the shank shoulders. This type of filigree is hand-crafted by our skilled artisans, and we can adjust it to reflect something that holds special meaning for you if you decide you’d like to customize this design. Joseph Jewelry
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
