Description
This exquisite engagement ring features a round peach sapphire, flanked on either side by shared prong set diamonds, and accented by additional diamond and milgrain accents on the ornate rose gold shank. It was created for a couple from Auburn, WA, who initially visited our Bellevue, WA showroom in person to get the custom design process underway. They also came in later on to see a wax model of the piece, and to personally pick out the stone they wanted for the center before approving our design to move into production. Center Sapphire
The stone at the center of this ring is a 0.58 carat round peach sapphire, and it’s displayed beautifully in a four prong rose gold setting. The lovely color of the stone is complemented nicely by the warm tones of the metal, and the way the setting rises gracefully from the shank below contributes significantly to the elegant flow of the design. Diamond Accents
On each shank shoulder, two round diamonds are shared prong set, with the larger of the pair closer to the center sapphire. These bring a dazzling sparkle to the ring, and they also provide a beautiful contrast to help the center stone stand out even more. Directly below the main sapphire, two diamonds are bezel set on each ring front, and this acts as a subtle touch that ties all elements of the design together. Three Stone Engagement Rings
There are also round diamonds about the same size as the smaller of the two on the shoulders channel set down the sides of the band, and smaller round diamonds are bright cut set angling towards the fronts. All of these are lined with two rows of milgrain beading for some added vintage flair.
Band Design
The intricate lines of the band are dictated in large part by the margins of the bases that hold the bright cut set accents. These are essentially a marquise shape, and they’re aligned in two rows going down each side of the band. The channel set diamonds sit in the spaces created when their points come together, and the cumulative effect of this placement is to create what almost looks like a latticework continuing until close to the bottom of the ring.

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
