14k Yellow Gold Custom Solitaire Spinel Gemstone Engagement Ring
Item #104660 $2,294 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
The clients were never able to visit our Bellevue, WA showroom in person, but we worked in close collaboration with them through the online workroom we set up to manage their project. This allowed us to share digital proofs of the designs we were developing for them, as well as images of various center stone options, thereby allowing them to pick just the right gems to create the look they were after.
Purple Spinel Center
At the top of this ring, a 1.54 carat purple spinel is prong set in platinum, and it lies lengthwise in line with the band. This positioning was what the clients preferred, and it allows the accent stones contained in the other rings in the set to be arrayed around the center in somewhat of an unconventional halo when all three pieces are worn together. Solitaire Engagement Rings
The fact that the spinel is the only gemstone in this ring makes it a solitaire design, and this is what was specifically requested by the clients. They wanted to have a central solitaire ring that could be worn on its own, but that could also function as the centerpiece of the three-ring set. One of a Kind Engagement Rings
Custom Wedding Sets
Whether your vision is inspired by this design or you would like to take your piece in a completely different direction, having all of the rings in your wedding set made together allows you to include all kinds of special details. That could include choosing specific types of gemstones, as it did for this couple, or it may mean adding custom hand engraving in a particular pattern or style. No matter what you choose, we’ll work closely with you to ensure that what we ultimately produce for you is just what you're envisioning.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
