Three-stone Setting
The 1.91 carat Asscher cut white sapphire that sits atop this ring is prong set in platinum, and it’s flanked on either side by a bullet shaped diamond that is also prong set. These side stones sit lower down than the main one, and they’re oriented with their flat end up against the side of the sapphire. This leaves the pointed end extending towards the shank, aiding in the transition to the narrower band while simultaneously echoing the sapphire’s elegant angles. Three Stone Engagement Rings
Diamond Accents
Just beyond the tips of the bullet diamonds, small round diamonds are split prong set in a line down the shank, stopping at about the three-quarter point on the band. These provide a glamorous flair, and they enhance the modern look of the ring thanks to their setting style. They also help to balance out the angular top portion of the ring, as the curves of both the setting and the diamonds themselves curve smoothly around the band.

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
