Center Setting
At the top of this ring, a round brilliant cut diamond sits in a four prong setting made from 18k white gold. Two of the prongs meet the stone in line with the band, while the other two sit at the top and bottom of the diamond. This gives the center setting as a whole a vaguely star-like quality, and that sense is only enhanced by the shape of the prongs, which continue up to form rounded tips after engaging with the girdle of the diamond. Diamond and Milgrain Accents
The band of this ring maintains a consistent width most of the way around the bottom, but it widens as it nears the top, and the spot where the widening begins is marked by the emergence of round bright cut set diamond accents. The accent diamonds in this ring total 0.40 carats all together, and they vary in size in order to perfectly fill the space available. Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
