14k Yellow Gold Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #103714 $4,264 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Center Setting
At the top of this ring, a three carat round brilliant cut diamond sits in a four prong setting made of 18k white gold. The prongs all begin close together at a point directly below the stone, and they follow its contours closely as they make their way up to the top. To complete the main setting, a small ring of metal runs all the way around the prongs at their origin point, and another larger band serves as a gallery rail, running around the diamond just below the level of the girdle. Diamond and Milgrain Accents
These two bands that are part of the main setting are both lined with round bright cut set diamonds for some surprise sparkle and added glamour. The diamonds are framed beautifully by rows of milgrain beading that run along them on either side, and this milgrain continues down to line the inner margin of the band.
Round diamond accents are also split prong set down both shank shoulders, and the stones used here are nearly twice the size of the bright cut diamonds in the center setting. Despite the size difference, the presence of diamonds in both areas creates a connection between the two sections of the piece, and the use of the split prong setting gives the band a more delicate appearance, as very little metal can be seen between the stones. Hand Engraving
The lower portion of the band is covered on both the top and fronts with an intricate pattern of custom hand engraving, and this design is highlighted by the addition of milgrain beading along the edges and arching through the pattern.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
