Description
This dazzling engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond prong set at the top in white gold, surrounded by a halo of bright cut set diamonds lined with milgrain, and accented by additional pave set diamonds and filigree on the tapered rose gold band. Center Diamond and Halo
The gorgeous diamond that dominates this design is a round brilliant cut stone, and it’s cradled beautifully by four white gold prongs that rise up from within the surrounding halo. The use of white gold for the prongs helps intensify the sparkle of the diamond, keeping the entire center one color in order to emphasize the contrast with the warm tones of the rose gold that makes up the rest of the ring. Surrounding this center is a softly squared halo of round diamonds bright cut set in 18k rose gold, and these bring their own lovely sparkle to the piece while also sending additional light back up onto the larger stone. The halo style is a classic choice for an engagement ring, with the added milgrain bringing along some vintage flair as well. Diamond Engagement Rings
Diamond and Milgrain Accents
Bright cut set diamond accents run down the shank shoulders of this piece, and they fill the space available across the entire domed top surface. These diamonds are only intruded upon by several arches of filigree that line the sides of the shank shoulders, opening up the band design and giving it a more delicate look.
The filigree and accent diamonds both are lined with milgrain beading, and this detail ties in nicely with the milgrain in the halo. The diamond, milgrain and filigree accents stop at the mid-point on each side oft he band, which continues to taper down to its narrowest point across the bottom of the piece.

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
