Center Setting and Halo
The centerpiece of this design is a one carat cushion cut diamond, and it’s bezel set in 14k white gold. The rim of the setting protects the edges of the stone, just as it highlights the elegant lines of the cut. Diamond Engagement Rings
Just below the center diamond, a contoured halo of round diamonds is bright cut set, and the entire halo angles downward slightly in keeping with the curvature of the center stone. The halo style is a classic one, and the rows of milgrain beading that line both the bezel setting and the outer margin of the halo only help to intensify that effect. Halo Engagement Rings
Band Design and Diamond Accents
Across the bottom, the band of this ring is flat and straight, and it widens gradually moving up the side. As it nears the center setting, a split opens up between two strands on either side, and these continue up on their own to meet the sides of the halo while maintaining generally the same angle the rest of the band follows.
In the space that opens between the two strands, a single round diamond is bezel set, with its two sides each touching the inner margin of the split strands. The outer margin of these strands is smooth, but the inner margin is scalloped due to the way the metal curves around the accent diamonds that are bright cut set along the top surface.
These accents continue down past where the two strands come back together, tucked into sections defined by lines of milgrain beading. On each ring front, bright cut set diamonds run up along the same portion of the band, from the mid-point on each side all the way to the center setting. These taper as well to fit in the space available, and a single diamond is bezel set directly below the center on each ring front as well.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
