Engagement Ring Description

This stunning engagement ring features a large emerald cut diamond held by a modern open setting with six rows of pave diamonds, all set in white gold. It was created for a client from Redmond, WA, who wanted an updated setting for their beautiful center diamond. They visited our Bellevue location and worked with our designers to create the perfect setting. Design Your Own Engagement Ring

With our custom design process, you can make unlimited modifications to the 3d models and renders. We will also print a wax model of the design so that you can see it in person with its true proportions before it is ever cast in metal. When you're 100% happy with the models, we will cast it in metal and set the gemstones.

Center Diamond and Accents

The star of this piece is the 3.07 carat emerald cut diamond. The setting completely accentuates the beauty of the gemstone by allowing as much light as possible to enter it. The four prongs swoop upward from the band in a graceful upside down arch and hold the diamond high above the band with the help of a gallery rail to support the large diamond. Pave diamonds cover the entire outside of the setting on the band. There are six rows of pave diamonds, with four on the top and one on each front. The client debated if they should have a sharper corner of metal between the fronts and the top, but after seeing the 3d models, they decided to keep them more uniform with no divider. Pave settings use the least amount of metal to hold diamonds in place and traditionally are created using at least three rows of diamonds to literally create a "pave" of diamonds.

Euroshank

For rings with large centers, we recommend adding a Euroshank to the design. This prevents spinning on the wearer's finger because it squares out the bottom two points of the ring to balance the weight of the center stone. It is a subtle addition to this design.
