The centerpiece of this ring is a 2.23 carat Ideal Square diamond. This type of cut takes much longer to cut and finish to an Ideal Square diamond, but the extra work is worth it in the end, as this type of diamond exhibits a sparkle like no other. Diamond Engagement Rings
It also includes the distinctive hearts and arrows pattern, with eight distinct arrows visible from the top and eight corresponding hearts visible when the stone is viewed from the bottom. This symmetry and alignment of facets is what unleashes the unparalleled brilliance of this type of stone. The Ideal Square diamond is the only square diamond in the world with the Hearts and Arrows distinction.
Accent Stones
Running along the shoulders of the shank to about the halfway point of this ring are two rows of bright cut set accent diamonds. These line up with the diamonds in the matching wedding bands to give the set a more cohesive look. They are lined with milgrain detailing, which adds a vintage flair to the piece and also plays nicely off the sparkle of the diamonds to really make the ring shine.
