Description

This stunning engagement ring features an oval cut diamond prong set in the middle of a double halo of pave set diamonds and accented with half moon diamonds on the shank shoulders. The design was developed for a client from Redmond, WA, who began the process by coming into our Bellevue, WA location personally and then finalized the details of the project online.

We also made wedding band #102414 to go with this ring, and the complete set features two wedding bands to be worn on either side of the engagement ring. This creates a truly elegant display, which is just what our client wanted for his bride-to-be.

Center Diamond and Halo

The center diamond used in the center of this ring is a 1.71 carat oval cut stone. It’s held in a four prong 18k white gold setting, and its sparkle is greatly enhanced by the double halo of pave set diamonds that surrounds it. Diamond Engagement Rings

Pave settings involve securing the diamonds in such a way that there is little to no metal showing between them, and it’s a very classy and elegant style. Our expert artisans have a great deal of experience setting stones this way, and that makes it possible for us to create beautiful pieces like this one that incorporate the pave style.

Shank Design

Just below the halo on the shank shoulders sit two half-moon diamonds, one on each side of the center setting. These are prong set, and a line of milgrain beading separates them from the two rows of bright cut set diamonds running along the rest of the band down to about the three quarter point.

Matching Wedding Sets

When you’re ready to create your wedding set, we recommend having all of the rings made at the same time. This ensures that all gemstones and other details match perfectly, and also that the rings all line up properly when worn together.

This ring shares a couple of features with the companion wedding bands that help unite them. These include the rows of bright cut set diamonds as well as the milgrain beading, and it’s small details like this that help to create a truly glamorous look when the rings are worn as a set. Customize

Use this design as a starting point for a custom piece.

Discuss the stones, metal, proportions, setting and finish with a designer, online or in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms. You can bring reference photographs or your own stone for us to assess.

  1. Design and estimate

The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.

  2. 3D design review

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.

  3. Physical model

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.

  4. Approval and production

The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
