Description

This gorgeous engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond prong set in the center of an intertwining halo of bright cut set diamond accents that forms naturally as an extension of the criss-cross rose gold shank. It was created for a client from Sequim, WA as part of a custom wedding set that also included this wedding band. It’s a stunning and elegant design that builds on our original piece to achieve exactly the look the client was after. Design Your Own Engagement Ring

Center Diamond and Halo

The centerpiece of this ring is a 1.01 carat round brilliant cut diamond. It’s cradled in four rose gold prongs that rise up from the center of the intertwining halo of bright cut set diamonds that forms as an extension of the criss-cross shank. The swirling motion of the strands holding the diamonds gives the piece a delicate and organic feel, and the bright cut setting coupled with the milgrain lining the diamonds adds a decidedly vintage flair. Diamond Accents and Band Design

Small round diamonds are also bright cut set down the shank shoulders, extending down along both strands on each side to the three-quarter point. These are a continuation of the diamonds found in the halo, and they’re also lined with milgrain beading. The companion wedding band features bright cut set diamonds lined with milgrain as well, and the shared features and matching placement ensures the two rings create a truly dazzling display when worn together.

The band itself is solid at the bottom, but it splits at the three-quarter point, which is where the accent diamonds begin. The two strands curve slightly out and then back in, crossing over each other just before they transition into the main setting. The delicate, elegant lines of this piece contribute to its overall organic feel, and they provide the perfect counterpoint to the large round diamond at the top.

Customize

Use this design as a starting point for a custom piece.

Discuss the stones, metal, proportions, setting and finish with a designer, online or in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms. You can bring reference photographs or your own stone for us to assess.

  1. Design and estimate

The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.

  2. 3D design review

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.

  3. Physical model

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.

  4. Approval and production

The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
