This lovely engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond prong set at the top of a tapered band, with micro-pave set accent diamonds on the platinum shank. Center Diamond
The center diamond in this piece is round brilliant cut and prong set. The open setting allows for a clear view of the stone from all sides, and it lets the maximum amount of light enter the diamond, helping to increase its brilliance. The four platinum prongs holding it in place curve up in graceful lines that complement the perfect shape of the stone, and their profile mirrors the shape of the band as a whole. Micro-pave Accents
Each shank shoulder is covered with micro-pave accent diamonds, which extend to about a third of the way down from the main setting. These are arranged into rows of two initially, and they expand with the band as it nears the main setting until there are four diamonds across in the final row.

We take the time to learn as much as we can about your preferences, and we then use that information to generate a unique design in CAD.
At this point in the process, you’re free to provide any feedback you have, as well as requesting any desired revisions, and you can repeat this cycle as many times as necessary until you’re totally satisfied with our outline. You can also request that we grow a wax model for you to view before you give your approval to move into the production phase, and we’ll even ship it to you for free if you live too far away to come into the showroom to see it.

Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.
3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.
Lifetime warranty and care

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
