Peach Sapphire Center
The centerpiece of this ring is a 2.08 carat oval peach sapphire, and it’s bezel set in 14k yellow gold. The ring that the client used as inspiration for this design had a London blue topaz in the center, while the ring itself was made from rose gold. Sapphire Engagement Rings
These adjustments, as well as a slight increase in the size of the center, were the only significant modifications the client requested to her inspiration piece. The difference these changes made in the finished product are striking, however, resulting in a ring with completely different aesthetics and one that’s matched perfectly to the client’s sense of style.
Diamonds and Milgrain
Small round diamonds are split prong set starting at the edge of the band and continuing around to the same spot on the other side of the center setting, which allows them to wrap around both the top and bottom of the setting holding the sapphire. These diamonds are smallest closer to the band, and they increase in size moving away from it, with the largest diamond on each end located right in the middle of the curve. That halo configuration helps to elongate the center setting even more, and it also helps to highlight the elegant shape of the sapphire. The margin of the bezel setting holding that sapphire is lined with milgrain beading, which serves to reinforce the vintage overtones already present in the piece, and the filigree basket below the center setting ties in nicely with these details as well.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
