This stunning engagement ring features a large princess cut diamond in the center of a three-stone setting that also includes two smaller princess cut diamonds, as well as additional accent diamonds on the platinum shank. Three-stone Setting
The centerpiece of this ring is a 0.48 carat princess cut diamond. It’s set in four platinum prongs that rise up gracefully from the trellis setting below, and it sits slightly higher than the two smaller princess cut diamonds that complete the three-stone setting. These are also prong set, and they angle out slightly to keep inline with the curve of the band. Three Stone Engagement Rings
Accent Diamonds
Five round accent diamonds are channel set down each shank shoulder, adding some lovely sparkle as well as a subtle contrast in shape to the square princess cut diamonds at the top. These accent stones line up perfectly with the diamonds in the companion wedding bands we also made for this client, helping to give the set a truly unified look.
A single round diamond is bezel set on each ring front to create a peek-a-boo effect with a surprising sparkle. The client’s original engagement ring had three diamonds on each ring front, but she decided she only wanted one per side, and so we used the left over diamonds in the wedding ring we made at the same time as this piece.
Custom Wedding Sets
There are two wedding bands that make up the rest of this set. The client already had one of these, and she asked that we make another one to match. These bands are designed to sit on opposite sides of the engagement ring, creating a symmetrical and sparkling look that was just what the client wanted.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
