After discussing his vision for the ring with him, our team put together a set of CAD proofs of the piece as we proposed to make it. The client viewed these online through the dedicated workroom we set up to facilitate communication related to his project, and in the same way, he was able to request some adjustments to our initial models. He also came back in person to view a wax model of the design to make sure every detail was perfect before giving his final approval to move into production. Design Your Own Engagement Ring
Three-stone Setting
At the top of this ring, a 1.02 carat oval diamond is prong set in 14k rose gold, and it’s oriented to cross the band lengthwise. On either side of this gorgeous stone, a round diamond is also prong set, and these side stones were provided by the client, adding an extra personal touch to an already special piece. Diamond Engagement Rings
The three-stone setting is a classically-inspired choice, and the use of round and oval diamonds works to reinforce this theme. The warm tones of the rose gold add some vintage flair as well, and the openness of the center setting allows the beauty of the diamonds to really shine through.
Diamond Accents and Customization Options
Small round diamonds are bright cut set down both shank shoulders, starting just below the side stones of the center setting. These accents taper slightly at first and then maintain the same dimensions from the third through the seventh stones on either side. That brings the diamonds to just beyond the mid-point on the band, and the band itself does continue to taper below the spot where the diamonds stop, reaching its narrowest point across the very bottom of the ring.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
