Diamond Solitaire
The centerpiece of this ring is a round brilliant cut diamond, and the tension setting holding it arises gracefully from the criss-cross white gold shank below. It’s a wrapped setting as well, and this allows it to follow the contours of the diamond exactly, nicely highlighting the stone’s perfect shape.
Band Design
The band itself features a subtle criss-cross design that begins below the half-way mark. At this point, the two separate strands become defined, although they don’t actually move far enough away from each other to create an opening in the band.
They instead cross back over each other, with the top strand then looping out and back in as it transitions into the main setting. The bottom strand also integrates into the wrapped setting, but lower down, providing structural stability and protection for the bottom part of the stone. Diamond Engagement Rings

Even a design as seemingly straightforward as this can be customized in any number of different ways to make it better reflect your unique style. For instance, you could use a different cut of diamond in the center, which would alter the shape of the main setting and significantly change the overall style of the ring.
Or you could use a different type of gemstone such as a colored diamond or sapphire as the centerpiece, and you could integrate some accent stones into the band as well. Using a colored metal is something to consider as well, particularly if you’d like to introduce some contrast to the piece, or if you’re partial to more classical or vintage designs.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
