18k Rose Gold Diamond Solitaire Engagement Ring
Item #104186 $3,874 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Diamond Solitaire
The only diamond in this ring is a one-carat round brilliant cut stone, and it’s cradled by four prongs made of 14k rose gold. The prongs all begin at the same point directly below the diamond, and they follow the contours of the stone as they make their way to the top to curl up over the girdle.
A diamond solitaire is a traditional choice for an engagement ring, and this piece is a wonderful example of that style. The warm tones of the rose gold contrast beautifully with the brilliant white sparkle of the diamond, adding another dimension to the piece while still keeping the basic outlines simple. Band Design and Filigree
The band is narrow and straight all the way around, with a slight dome on top. It rises up to meet the sides of the center setting, and at the same point, a strand splits off from the inner margin of the band to pass under the center setting. These strands, with one coming from each side, curl up and in right below the point of the main stone, forming a scroll-style filigree that adds a decorative element to the design. Customization Options
To customize this ring, you could choose a different shape or type of stone for the center. For instance, an oval or princess cut diamond would work well here, and you could even choose a pink diamond to add some romantic overtones to the design. You could also switch to a different type of metal for the band, and you may want to add some custom hand engraving here as well, which would create a unique look while still keeping with the traditional solitaire style.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
