Asscher Diamond
The center of this ring is an Asscher cut diamond held in place by double claw prongs. Asscher cuts are a product of the Art Deco era, giving off a vintage glam sparkle with a Great Gatsby aesthetic. This diamond cut is a step cut, meaning the diamond was faceted in long parallel cuts as opposed to the triangular and kite-shaped cuts on a round brilliant cut. Edgeless Pave Diamonds
The halo around the Asscher cut is comprised of edgeless pave diamonds. Pave diamonds are very small and set close together, creating a "pave" of diamonds. This halo is edgeless because there are no metal borders on the sides to frame the pave. Halo Engagement Rings
Below the halo, a hidden halo forms the base of the basket that holds the center stone. Moving down the shank from the top, princess cut diamonds are channel set down the shoulders, continuing the square theme from the Asscher diamond.
Customization
This ring can be customized in many different ways. The center Asscher could be a blue or yellow sapphire, adding color to the mix. Or, creating the ring in rose gold and adding hand engraving would transform the design into a vintage-inspired ring.

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
