18k Rose Gold Pav Diamond Engagement Ring

Center Setting
At the top of this ring, a one carat princess cut diamond is displayed beautifully in a four prong setting made of 18k white gold. The prongs originate quite close together at a point directly below the diamond, and they extend upward from there at an angle that closely follows the contours of the stone itself. The prongs meet the diamond at its corners, simultaneously protecting them from damage and introducing a subtle contrast between the rounded tops of the prongs and the sharp lines and angles of the stone. Diamond and Milgrain Accents
Pave set diamond accents run down both shank shoulders, starting where the band meets the sides of the main setting and continuing down to nearly the mid-point on each side. These are lined with milgrain beading, which frames them nicely and brings some vintage flair to the design as well. Vintage Engagement Rings Seattle
On the ring fronts, a bridge piece extends from the inner surface of the band on one side, arching across to connect to the same spot on the other, and passing directly below the main setting on the way. This bridge piece is lined with bright cut set diamond accents, with lines of milgrain running above and below the diamonds as well.
Just above this, integrated into the main setting itself, is a gallery rail that runs between the prongs about half-way up to the top. This rail holds three bright cut set diamonds lined with milgrain also, and these bring a surprise sparkle along with a satisfying balance to the design as a whole.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
