18k Rose Gold Tapered Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #1146 $7,877 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Center Setting and Baguettes
The main setting of this ring rises dramatically up from the shank, with four white gold talon prongs cradling a 1.10 carat round brilliant cut diamond in the center. The way the prongs hug the sides of the diamond on the way up helps to enhance the elegant lines of its cut, and they still leave plenty of open space on the ring fronts to provide a clear view of this gorgeous stone.
On either side of the center, two tapered baguette diamonds are bar set, with their wider ends closer to the main setting. This facilitates a transition between the large diamond at the top and the narrow band below, and it also gives the ring somewhat of a three-stone look. Diamond Engagement Rings
Diamond and Milgrain Accents
Small round diamonds are bright cut set in two rows running up from the mid-point on the band to just below the baguette side stones. Between these sets of accents, a line of round bright cut set diamonds runs perpendicularly across the band, making for a clean separation between the two areas of the ring. Two bright cut set diamonds also sit at the base of the main setting on each ring front, and all of these accents are lined with milgrain beading for a nice finishing touch. Custom Filigree
On the inside of the band, a custom filigree plate in a scroll pattern runs along below the accent diamonds on the shank shoulders. This pattern can be customized in numerous ways to allow it to reflect a special symbol or pattern with personal significance to you and your partner, which is a wonderful way to enhance the meaning of an already special piece.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
