This exquisite engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond prong set at the top, flanked on either side by a smaller round channel set diamond to complete the three-stone setting. Additional diamond and milgrain accents continue along the ornate band, adding some glamorous sparkle and combining to produce a unique, contemporary look. Three-stone Setting

The centerpiece of this ring is a one carat round brilliant cut diamond. It’s displayed beautifully in a four prong setting made of 18k white gold, and the prongs extend straight up at a slight angle from the base of the main setting. They continue even a bit beyond the girdle of the stone, and this adds a modern twist to the design while also allowing the beauty of the diamond to shine through on all sides. The three-stone setting is completed by smaller round diamonds that are tucked into channel settings on either side of the center. They sit lower down as well, at the level of the rest of the band, and this creates the classics three-stone style but with a contemporary twist. Diamond Engagement Rings

Diamond and Milgrain Accents

Twelve more accent diamonds are channel set in groups of three along the band, and these are all lined with milgrain beading, as are the side stones in the center setting. Each group of three stones is held within a marquise shape in the band, and the stone in the middle of the group is larger than those on either side.

The design of the band itself gives the impression of a criss-cross split shank, curving outward and back in nearly to a point between the marquise sections. This adds an intricacy to the piece, and it also emphasizes the classical undertones of the design.
