Our designers created a few different designs based on some inspiration images that the client provided. They knew they wanted a two-tone band and we were able to make a few different cluster designs with two-tone metals. The client especially liked one variation, and from there we moved into the CAD modeling stage. We made some adjustments, and the client approved the design for production.
Cluster Setting
The final iteration of this design that went into production features several marquise, pear, and round diamonds. They are clustered along the top of two bands in an "orbit" orientation that looks like two different bands crossing each other. The stones are set at different angles in the white gold, creating a festive array of sparkle. The diamonds span the entire top third of the ring, reaching from one side of the finer to the other. Customization Options
There are many ways to customize this ring. The beauty of cluster set rings is that they can be reimagined in an infinite amount of ways. We have created many cluster designs in the past, and we can help you design your own cluster ring. You could involve different tones of gemstones and sapphires, or contain the same cluster all on one band. If you wanted to incorporate more stones or different shapes, we could do that as well.

Customize
Use this design as a starting point for a custom piece.
Discuss the stones, metal, proportions, setting and finish with a designer, online or in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms. You can bring reference photographs or your own stone for us to assess.
Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.
3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support

- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.
