Description
This lovely engagement ring features a round brilliant diamond center stone surrounded by a halo and accented by criss-cross swirls and two champagne sapphires. It was created for a client from Snoqualmie, WA, who visited our Seattle location with some inspiration photos and a rough idea of what he wanted to design.

We presented a few different versions of the ring, starting with a bezel set center. We also experimented with different halo setting types, and finally landed on the version here, with a shared prong halo and four prongs holding in the center stone instead of the bezel. Center Diamond
The center of this ring is a lab grown .80 carat diamond. The client wanted to make sure it was the main feature of the ring, which is why he ended up adding the halo to reflect light up into the beautiful stone. Additionally, the choice of rose gold allowed extra contrast against the crisp white of the diamonds. Diamond Engagement Rings
Rose Gold and Champagne Sapphires
Rose gold is always a great choice for an engagement ring. It will never lose its pink color and holds diamonds very well over time. Rose gold engagement rings are classic.
The client wanted to incorporate some sort of color into the ring because his future fiancee loves morganite. He chose champagne sapphire because of its hardness and durability as well as the strong, clear color. Rose Gold Engagement Rings
Customization
There are many ways to customize this ring. Changing the sapphires to a royal blue and the rose gold to a white metal would completely alter the look to a more modern aesthetic.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
