The largest diamond in this ring is a 1.04 carat cushion cut stone, and it’s held in place by four prongs made of 14k white gold that curl up over its rounded corners. The silvery shine of the metal only helps to maximize the effect of the diamond’s brilliant white sparkle, and the openness of the setting ensures a great view of the stone from all sides. Surrounding this center diamond is a halo of small round diamonds, all of which are split prong set in white gold. The halo follows the contours of the larger stone, and the smaller diamonds reflect extra light up onto it as well, helping to intensify its shine.
