Description

This dazzling engagement ring features a cushion cut diamond in the center of a split prong set diamond halo, all of which is accented by additional split prong set diamonds running down the shoulders of the narrow white gold shank. It was created for a client from Bellevue, WA, who visited our Bellevue, WA showroom in person to begin the custom design process.

Center Diamond and Halo

The largest diamond in this ring is a 1.04 carat cushion cut stone, and it’s held in place by four prongs made of 14k white gold that curl up over its rounded corners. The silvery shine of the metal only helps to maximize the effect of the diamond’s brilliant white sparkle, and the openness of the setting ensures a great view of the stone from all sides. Design Your Own Engagement Ring

Surrounding this center diamond is a halo of small round diamonds, all of which are split prong set in white gold. The halo follows the contours of the larger stone, and the smaller diamonds reflect extra light up onto it as well, helping to intensify its shine.

Diamond Accents and Band Design

Small round accent diamonds are also split prong set down both shank shoulders, continuing to about the three-quarter point on each side. These tie in nicely with the diamonds in the halo, and they create a glamorous overall feel for the piece as well. As a finishing touch, accent diamonds are bright cut set on the strands that make up the lower portion of the main setting. These bring the total number of accent diamonds in the ring to 66, all of which combine to weigh 0.28 carats. Diamond Engagement Rings

Customize

Use this design as a starting point for a custom piece.

Discuss the stones, metal, proportions, setting and finish with a designer, online or in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms. You can bring reference photographs or your own stone for us to assess.

  1. Design and estimate

The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.

  2. 3D design review

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.

  3. Physical model

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.

  4. Approval and production

The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
