Engagement Ring Description

This breathtaking engagement ring features a round moonstone bezel set in the center, surrounded by a ring of moonstones and diamonds arranged in an alternating pattern, and accented by custom metalwork and beading on the rose gold band below. It was created for a client from Bellevue, WA, and it's a wonderful example of how going through our custom design process can allow you to include special personal details in your piece. Moonstone Center

The largest stone in this ring is a cabochon cut moonstone with an enchanting, luminous color that's complemented nicely by the warm tones of the 14k rose gold it’s set in. The bezel setting frames the stone perfectly, reinforcing the resemblance to a full moon while allowing for a low profile and durability for the ring overall. Additionally, the symbolism of the moonstone is further highlighted by the crescent moon motifs that curve out from either side of the center setting just above the band. Diamond and Moonstone Accents

There are four smaller moonstones and four small, round diamonds arranged in an alternating pattern and evenly spaced around the larger moonstone center. These smaller moonstones are each 2mm in diameter, and the two in line with the band are bezel set, while the other two are prong-set in a slightly angular protrusion extending from the top and bottom of the center setting.

Between these, the round diamonds are bezel set and each is suspended from two beads that rest right up against the side of the center setting. This arrangement provides a nice balance for the piece, and the diamonds add a lovely glamorous sparkle as well. Conflict Free Diamonds

Band Design and Customization Options

The band of this ring is lined with a row of decorative beading that runs all the way around along the top surface. This ties in nicely with the beads in the center setting, and it adds another layer of complexity to the design as well.
